One thing that did surprise me about the Transporter is that the
impedence of its balanced output is quoted as 1kOhm. Does that strike
you as unusually high? In my experience balanced outputs are usually
100 ohms or less. Can you think of any reason for this? Slim Devices
generally demonstrate that they know what they're doing, so I'm
thinking there must be a rational explanation that's too subtle for me
to figure out.
