Cameras do not look different to different people and colours are
certain frequencies of electromgnetic radiation that can be measured.
They take accurate reproductions of the real world through the lens and
buying choices are made based on format, functionality and preferences
based on control layout. People buy Nikons, Hasselblads and Canons for
a good reason - they have accurate lenses and have a good degree of
control to allow you to manipulate the images if you so choose. Some
people have brand loyalty, but they don't say "I bought this Nikon
because the colour reproduction is really chocolatey"

Loudspeakers are compromises based on cost and effort spent in the
design and sourcing of components. They are measurably imperfect.
Whether you choose to go to the expense as a manufacturer to measure it
in every way you can think of and then a few more is up to the
individual company. If they instead rely on their golden ears to tune
it, then it will have appeal to a limited segment who share the same
tastes in distortion.
