I have lived in a semi-socialist country, so I know a lot about
over-regulation and its negative effects. Only things that can hurt you
need be regulated. If you want to hurt yourself in the wallet by
purchasing stuff purely based on the sellers hype -then you must be
allowed to do so. Just ask all women purchasing anti-ageing cream...
(The manufacturers of which, I can assure you, make several orders of
magnitude more money than modders.)
