I used to use Toslink before, but then, after turning off analog
output, I decided that coax sounded better. I'll give Toslink another
try, although I currently don't have any decent toslink cable at all.
(I'll start looking for a reasonably priced glass one.)

I'll try to find the relevant discussion on Audio Circle and post a
link to see what their take on this might be.

BTW, I replaced the switch mode power supply with a linear one.
