Thanks for pointing to these numerous threads. Now I am even more confused than ever! :) Assuming that the amps (Portal Paladins) do not have the capability to limit the gain, is there any way to do so on the SB2? I saw many threads about setting jumpers on the Transporter, but I guess this capability does not exist for the SB2, right? For the sake of simplicity, sound, and budget, I would like to avoid getting a seperate preamp or DAC with volume control. Are there any other elegant solutions I can check out?
