Well just about the only people who have heard Transporters are those
that pre-ordered them and now have them, but the difference is obvious:
the Transporter sounds better.  How much better depends on your system
(and your ears, I guess).  There are some reviews just starting to
appear, including on this forum.

You can also consider upgrading your SB3: a linear power supply,
internal mods, maybe an external DAC.  But my policy is simple: only
upgrade when you feel it's really necessary.  Does your SB3 sound bad
to you?  It may well be that your amp and/or speakers are the weak link
(not to mention cables, mains, room, dog etc), so there would be no
difference between SB3 and Transporter.
