Im currently building a file server with tons of free disc space. Once this is finished Im planning on re-ripping my entire CD collection in a lossless format. Currently, everything is ripped in MP3. The reason is simple; I only used this library for my iPod up until I bought the SB3. The lossless format will sound a lot better, Im sure.
I started this topic not because Im unhappy with the SB3. I guess I should refrain my question a bit, English is not my native language (sorry for that). Im simply curious about the Transporter. Obviously, it should sound a lot better than the SB3. Im simple looking for feedback from people who have both units or people who have had the change to evaluate both units. Im curious in how they do compare, and how much difference there is in sound quality between them. Is the sound quality worth the difference of $1700.
