Try shutting down Slimserver, deleting/renaming your plugins directory
and then re-install the latest nightly.

Plugins leftover from old installs (especially iTunes related) seem to
cause 99% of Slimserver 6.5 problems.

Do not enable any iTunes related stuff until you are happy the Server
is working normally. Then you can enable plug-ins 1 by 1.
Since you're on a Mac and have an Airport, I'm assuming you're running
some iTunes related stuff.

I run with about 3 plugins enabled/iTunes disabled and have never had
any problems with stuttering of audio breakup except when my neighbour
decided to buy an 802.11n router and just trampled all over the channel
I'd been using for nearly 3 years. These new 802.11n routers have such a
strong signal it just wipes out any other connections nearby.
