Yes, Biamping is good. Especially, it provides high quality reproduction from two not so high-quality amplifiers. For eg. two $500 amps might sound better than a $1000 dollar amp. To a great extent it depends on the speakers. IF the speakers have pretty flat impedence curve, then biamping may not make much difference. With a Squeezebox a linear power supply and/or a good glass toslink digital cable will immediately show some improvements. There are other things which are standard audiophile tweaks, but some people might think these are non-scientific or no basis. But quite a few of these in my experience seems to have improved the sound of my system.
