Hi Pat, Thanks for the link, I think I've learned a lot. If I'm understanding at all, the software must be using a different reference sound level p1 for the two samples, as the quieter of the two certainly is not less than half as loud, which it should be if the -15dB was measured against the same reference. Does this make any sense? This would be because for one reason or another the 2 cartridges have different minimum voltages (v1)???
