I know the Densen (DM-10 at least) and the Linn KanIIs well; they're not something I would really think to put together. Revealing they might be (OK, are!), but I'd guess they are quite thin and fatiguing together. The Densens worked wonderfully with the lush Morels (the UK distributor did both, as I remember), while the Kans I've always liked with valves (but maybe that's just me). It would take quite a source to calm them down, methinks. What CD player have you been using? You might do better by considering the whole system; front end improvements may not be what is needed.
