Hmm, what a drag that the £200 SB3 doesn't sound as good as my £2k CD player ;) Seriously, that was a good CD player, so you're asking a lot, and the fact that the Shek doesn't sound so great on poor recordings is surely not that much of a criticism? I'm about to order one of Derek Shek's new DACs, the d2. There's nothing on his website yet, but he is selling them via ebay.
