http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM1085.html Due to the current draw being just 0.9 amps it seems to work fine. Also, the battery actually gives about 6.23 volts. Output now is set to 5.17 volts. BTW, I (accidentally due to battery running low) noticed that the SB3 actually worked with an input voltage as low as 3.6 volts, although the screen quit working. Sound also seemed better at these weird operating conditions, but if it was due to the regulator not regulating, the screen being powerless, or if it was just imagination I don't know.
