I've been reading the Inguz threads about DRC with great interest as I have a space that seems to be a bit challenging and no chance of room treatments due to WAF. :)
The room is actually a pretty good shape and the speaker placement is not bad. But the surfaces are almost all wood, the furniture sparse and more on the hard side (leather), and the ceiling high and arched. There is a sweet spot location and a sweet spot volume, but stray from these and I get a bit of confusion - "echoey", muddied bass, loss of soundstage, and a general feeling that there are a lot of conflicting waves of sound bouncing around. Will DRC such as the Inguz plug-in help in this situation? Are there other fixes or treatments that I could try that might have an acceptable WAF? Thanks in advance for any feedback!
