You bet - especially thanks to Inguz. I do now feel that I will be able to easily generate new sweeps and filters as I make improvements to the room itself.
I'll give it a good listen over the next few days and post my impressions later. Is it worthwhile to run corrected sweeps and compare the before and after? Totoro, while researching room treatments I found an interesting article (review actually) that basically said the corners have the largest effect and that the cost/benefit ratio is highest addressing this problem area. http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/8nerve/8nerve.html The manufacturers website has a forum that was interesting (mainly testimonials, so not sure if it was completely objective or not). http://www.audiocircle.com/circles/index.php?board=47 Does anyone have any experience with this company or its products? If it makes a dramatic difference, it seems as though the WAF might be high with only a couple of triangles in the corners - especially if they can be color matched... Anyway, if nothing else, this exercise has undoubtedly shown me the importance of speaker placement and room treatment as a priority. -- ob_kook SB2 --> Axiom passive pre --> Portal Paladin monoblocks --> Dynaudio Contour 1.3 MKII ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ob_kook's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1383 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30031 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
