I suspect the KEFs are up to showing the difference between a TP and an SB, but Arcam vs TP may be a bit much for them (i.e. I agree with highdudgeon!) The Naim is a decent amp (not something I'd buy, but it does do some things very well), so the system would be up to a better pair of speakers, which would be much more revealing. Perhaps the Arcam/Naim/KEF system worked well together, and the TP lost the balance somehow. Anyway KEF Qs are kinda bland. The guy I bought my Harbeth HL-P3ES speakers from used them with a Naim amp, and it did sound good...
