I have been wondering about the KEF speakers as well. They are a bit of a baby hazard really and if I could get a similar or better sound out of something else of a similar price I would be quite happy. One pain I have found is actually testing out the TP - it is a bit difficult to take down to a hi-fi shop.
Thanks for the feedback. I really think the TP needs some excellent kit to shine and think building a system around it would be worthwhile. But for a low/mid range system like mine it is a bit of a luxury.
