That was the point of my suggestion - there is a good chance that there
are two different path's here. Escpecially when handling WMA -
slimserver must convert it to WAV before sending it to the squeezebox.
What the M-Audio card does - who knows?
Using wav files should level the playing field. If the difference is
the same this time - then the conclusion would be that M-Audio is
better and there is no software "hanky-panky".
