arghh. today I installed slimserver 6.5.1 (previously 6.5.0).
never played any WMA Lossless before. downloaded 24bit 96 kHz WMA lossless files from linnrecords.com today. they play in VLC player (video lan client, open source, windows). they also play in VLC when I transcode them into 24bit 96 kHz wav-format (tried diverse transcoding apps). but my transporter / SB3 won't play that stuff at all. transporter just plays "pink noise" when playing the transcoded WAV-file (in slimserver file setting is WAV to WAV) when playing WMA lossless (in slimserver WMA set to WAV) I get a windows error box on my slimserver saying (german): [der prozedureinsprungzeitpunkt "WMCreateReader" wurde in der DLL "WMVCore.DLL" nicht gefunden.] was slimserver 6.5.0 able to transcode WMA lossless into WAV? also with 24bit 96 kHz WMA lossless as source? what is my problem?
