Audiophile: literally, one who loves sound. Less literally, one who cares about accurate reproduction of sound through a stereo system. Nothing about gullibility, or neo-luddism, or anti-scientific mysticism. If you care about sound quality and are serious about optimizing it (i.e. you are an audiophile), you use blind testing. Look at or ask anyone who actually works as an audio engineer or researcher and see what techniques they use. There isn't any debate about it, it's an accepted, obvious fact, that blind testing is the *only* way to use human hearing as a tool. Sorry if you don't like the results - welcome to reality. -- opaqueice ------------------------------------------------------------------------ opaqueice's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4234 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32352 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
