That's what many say. If I was interested to buy them now I'd go to the store and check, but at this moment I'm not. Anyways, I don't believe it's so much about cable itself, but more about geometry. If solid core would be that good we wouldn't have many others. Really, it's not easy: you manage to treat induction - you increase either capacity or resistance, and vice versa, and so on...
