Probably not much of a difference, specially when using premium tubes
and/or modding on the DAC60.

The weak point of the stock SB3, aside from the switcher AC adapter, is
the analog circuitry. By cost constraints, the quality of the parts is
not comparable to the TP. Obviously the TP is a winner here.

Digital is another thing entirely. I believe the SB3 does a great job
as a "transport" using an external DAC.

I've seen the innards of the TP and, aside from the nice blue colored
Indian made toroidal transformer, it's quite empty inside.

Take a look at a DAC60. It uses dual (yes that's 2), cutting edge "R"
core transformers. These transformers are now used by such high-end
companies as Audio Research and McIntosh.

The six individually regulated stages use devices mounted in deluxe
extruded aluminum heatsinks. PCB board material is thick, premium glass
epoxy.

The DAC60 weighs around 20 lbs. Not bad for a DAC.

The reason the DAC60 costs so little is because of chinese assembly.

The TP, as suspected by many, has a very high profit margin.
