Just wanted to add a strong vote for the Citypulse DAC.

I'm using a Citypulse with TCXO upgrade with a SB3, and the results are
impressive. I was VERY skeptical upon first hearing it -- it sounded
very digital, and not as resolving as the SB3's analog outs.

But then I remembered all of these reports about break-in with the
Citypulse DAC, some saying that it requires up to 300 hours to fully
settle down. Now, I have no idea what the physical basis for this
phenomenon is, but all I can say is that it's very real, at least with
this particular piece of equipment. I've left the DAC on pretty much
constantly since receiving it, and the difference is absolutely night
and day.

My system is pretty modest: SB3 w/ Bolder modified Elpac, Citypulse
DAC, Creek OBH-12 passive preamp, Charlize amp, Klipsch RB-61 speakers.
I'm running Blue Jeans cables (optical to the DAC) and a Monster
PowerCenter HTS 2000 for power conditioning. It's shocking how good
this sounds.
