Judging by the internal photos shown of the Lavry DA10 on the
DIYhifi.org site, it appears to use a very cheap switching power
supply. 

I can't imagine this being superior or even comparable to the
Transporter or any other quality DAC for that matter.

To make matters worse, it uses a low cost Delta Sigma DAC chip. Even
cheaper than the unit uses in the Benchmark.

I might even use the dreaded NE5533 OP-Amp on the outputs!
