I did quite a bit of research before I went with the audioengine 5 speakers, specifically looking at 2 channel amps with auto signal sensing so that I could leave it on all of the time and came up with this one, available for $96.00 from Amazon. I don't know anything about the amp, but maybe someone here does. Still leaves the speakers.
