Excellent points in this post. But on Audioasylum lately, there've been exchanges about jitter measurements in Stereophile. Using the Miller analyzer, they've never measured anything close to 20ps. There's also suggestion that the methodology may produce inexplicable measurement variations. Though the difference between the HiFi News and Stereophile measurements of the Transporter does seem larger than the variations quoted. http://db.audioasylum.com/cgi/m.mpl?forum=digital&n=127792&highlight=jitter+miller+stereophile&r=&session= -- RuefulR ------------------------------------------------------------------------ RuefulR's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1672 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33276 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
