there's a way:

AES/EBU to S/PDIF signal level converter

but i think this would be interesting only if you had already the
soundcard. 
In the pro world you can find many with S/PDIF outputs: MOTU 828,
M-Audio Audiophile firewire, RME, Digidesign,.... They use Asio drivers
instead of the Microsoft ones, they don't upsample like usual pc
soundcards. In the M-Audio range you can find cheap models which are
very good. I had the Delta 44 but it had no digital output, that's why
i changed it an took the Marian because the Tact Rcs 2.2 has AES inputs
and i wanted to use them. But for S/PDIF i would have tried M-Audio
audiophile first.
