Aha. This makes me feel better - the motherboard in my SlimServer machine died recently and I've bought a new power supply, CPU and now motherboard trying to fix it. I hate spending money on obsolete technology (I'd rather spend $600 on a new Core 2 Duo setup) but this makes me feel a bit better. That's the benchmarking performance I was seeing, incremental speed increases at least until you get to the Core 2 Duo 6600 and 6700, but not a 10X increase. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34156 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
