Adam, If flights are cheaper, come to Dallas. Or , better still, make a tour of the US TP owners so you can make a truly informed decision.
Since you will have a pint at Pat's we'll have Mcallans 18 year here. Have a California cab while in Cali and I GAURANTEE you will like the TP a lot. I've had my TP since they 1st came out and I still think it's great. Not bored at all, which is more than I can say for my last girlfriend :-) Seriously, I suspect you would be very happy with that purchase for a long time.
