I'm lucky to have an old Mitsubishi DP-101 first generation CD player,
made in 1983. It has a nifty "emphasis" indicator light. I used it to
check all my collection when I was ripping it last year.

EAC, unfortunately, doesn't really detect the emphasis flag, even
though it has a column for it on the main window. 

I remember I had to download an ancient CD ripper that would digitally
apply the de-emphasis curve to the ripped WAVs. Can't remember the name
of it. It was from the late 1990s. A free download. Unfortunately, I
accidentally deleted it from my HD during a clean-up...
