Overall I've heard that the RS SPL meter isn't too bad in this
function, but it gets inaccurate in bass - which is unfortunately the
area that usually needs the most correction.  The rule of thumb was to
add 3 dB if you're measuring bass.

But I don't know the exact frequency range this inaccuracy covers. 
Also I would presume it's not a flat 3 dB correction.  I remember
finding a correction file for the RS meter, but there was considerable
disagreement regarding the correction file's validity where I found it.
