Hugh, Looks like Room Correction was on by default. I switched that one off. Also, the flatness is set to 10, even though I dont see it in the EQ menu. Still 2.6GHz Celeron does not seem to be enough CPU or it could be the wireless. I will try to switch to my DuoCore Toshiba notebook and see if that helps. I will email you directly here afterwards.
