I'm bi-amping (actually tri-amping) my speakers as well, although I can't say definitively I notice much of a difference, if any at all. I too am using an Elpac (although not modded) but again, I can't say if there's really a difference or not. The Panny is incredible, and I definitely have no complaints. The sound is remarkably clean, and the all-digital chain is very appealing from a perceived purity point of view.
