power line correct phase: Orientation of mains plug: The correct polarization of mains is important for reasons of audio clarity and stability.
for the folks who never heard of that, I found this nice article: http://www.audaud.com/audaud/JUL01/EQUIP/equip3JUL01.html there are even devices out there to quickly measure the correct phase by just plugging in the audio devices plug (at least here in germany). -- the transporter really has the best sound I ever heard so far. detail and dynamics, stage and musicality is very nice. no noticable noise floor. the handling via remote is outstanding! the display is top functional too. but I guess it's the audiophile's soul which always wants to make good things better - so thats why I started this thread! some time for sure I will even start optimizing my B&W 802 D's! but for now, I am asking for SERIOUS mods for the TRANSPORTER! and I would like to hear comments from users that actually heard them! A/B audition is not a necessity. Personal findings are just fine! thanks. :) -- truckfighters | Transporter | REDGUM RGASil OCC Silver Interconnects | REDGUM RGi120ENR AMP | REDGUM LS Cable | B&W Nautilus 802 D | >>> Live musicians at the end of my room! <<< ------------------------------------------------------------------------ truckfighters's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7852 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36626 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
