Quantitatively there is simply no debate - the distortion, frequency response aberrations and phase response aberrations introduced by speakers are orders of magnitude larger than those introduced by digital sources. However ultimately this is a subjective thing. Personally bumps in the frequency response bother me a lot - I often hear them quite clearly, and they bug me because they sound very unnatural. Differences in sources I almost never notice. -- opaqueice ------------------------------------------------------------------------ opaqueice's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4234 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36994 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
