In one of my systems I use Proac Studio 100's. They aren't "offically" pro or studio gear but a few pro's like Rick Rubin, and a fellow named Neil Young use them as monitors in their studios. Also interesting to note if you look at this months Absolute Sound there's a review with Bob Ludwig ( maybe the best mastering engineer on the planet) there's a photo of him in his studio; looks like a pair of Eggleston Savoy as his monitors. http://www.egglestonworks.com/
