Actually, the room is a simple rectangle, with plenty of cushy furniture. However, the ceiling is high (3 meters). The walls and ceiling (yes) are concrete. The floor is tile over concrete, although I have a very large and thick carpet over that.
Basically, the room is a good echo chamber. Talking into the corners, in particular, produces a bass echo like I've never heard before. Granted, things don't sound too awful. But they could be a lot better.
