It's interesting what people get into. I have an audiophile friend that is into collecting watches and cameras as well. Watches are cool and, from an engineering standpoint, mechanical movements quite fascinating (I was once a mechanical engineer), but I can't get over the fact that my $50 Timex with a quartz movement will keep better time. I can appreciate film versus digital for the cameras though (even though my film SLR hasn't been used for years). Conversely, he isn't into cars, considering Lexus, BMW, Porsche etc. as a waste of money (okay, so they are, sortof :) -- riffer ------------------------------------------------------------------------ riffer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13459 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39093 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
