I've got a transporter connected to a bunch of Linn gear (Exotik, 320A) but before I purchased it I wrote to Linn to see if they had anything in the pipeline. I also suggested that they just write some drivers to allow their products to talk directly to a slimserver. A few of their preamps now have both ethernet ports and a DAC so I can't see it being that difficult. Heck, I'd have a go at it myself if I could get the internal Linn development guides (fat chance).
Unless I win the lottery I'll be sticking with my transporter (sound is excellent).
