I have liked both Linn products that I used...a Linn SC, then a Linn Unidisk 2.1. I purchased both pieces "pre-owned" for the same reasons that I buy all my cars "pre-owned". I have really liked the Linn sound (into an MX119, MC501's, and PMC IB1 speakers). I intend to purchase a Transporter (and probably a Squeezebox as well) so that I can start ripping and storing my CD's. Can anyone comment upon the differences between the sound of other Linn sources, and the Transporter?
I notice that the McIntosh MS750 did not fare too well in the Stereophile assessment.
