My current (source) set-up: SB3 (wireless), with/without inguz room
correction, a cheap toslink to an external DAC (Audiomat Maestro).

All in WAV. The sound is not as good (to my liking, ie musical,
detailed, etc...) as with my CEC TL51X transport (Taralabs air 110
digital AES cable), and I would like to try, if ever possible, to close
the gap (you know, bits are bits).

Christmas approaching, let’s say I have around 500 USD to spend on
this, here are my options:

- 1. Replace the wallwart power supply, with something like Paul Hynes
SR1 Power supply
- 2. Buy some “noise killers” for the AC line, like Hifi Tuning noise
destroyer (or PS audio noise harvester)
- 3. Buy a very good (glass) optic fiber, like an Audioquest Optilink
5
- 4. Buy a RCA coax digital cable (don’t know which one though…)
- 5. Buy a JISCO jitter “descrambler”
http://www.altmann.haan.de/jitter/english/engc_navfr.html
- 6. Put the money in the bank (come on that’s twice the price of the
SB3 already, you fool…)

Is any of them likely to change anything? Any thoughts ?

Thanks
