I recall Keith Howard doing some work on this years ago for one of the
mags. As I recall, the humidity in the room was judged to affect the
sound (which you would empirically expect since sound travels
differently through the air medium based on its humidity and
temperature). There was also something about having  a window open (or
not) in the listening rooom...

ain't what you'd call minimal...
