Sorry to jump on the thread, but I have never understood the slimserver settings to set where the decoding happens - could someone kindly spell out for me exactly what I set in that list of file types in the setup interface?
I have two main file types: Apple lossless (.m4a) that I want to decode on the Transporter (or SB3 in another room) and higher bit-rate mp3s which I also want to decode on the Transporter or SB3, the choice being due to other network traffic.
