There you go, living in perfect theory land again. "For a linear system"
- yes, you're right.

But real world systems are not linear, and an under-powered PSU can
often cause problems at low-frequencies. Which is all Patrick said.

Try reading what's been said more carefully, and move on up into the
real world.
