I replaced my Rega Saturn with the Transporter, and before, I also auditioned the sb3 with a Stello DA220MkII and a Benchmark. The decision was easy, the transporter was superior, especially in how it rendered the notes in its pitch black sound floor.
My Saturn wasnt a SACD player, but until know I have yet to hear an SACD that satisfies me. Of course before buying the Saturn I auditioned other players including several SACD.
