I have a Rega Jupiter 2000 (very nice) and a SB3 in the same rig. The
intent was to keep a few "key" CDs around (rotated) for playback
through the Jupiter for the intense reference listening sessions (when
the wife/kids aren't around... no basement listening room for me yet).
The SB3 for internet radio / Sirius, and the rest of the music
collection.

What's happened is, despite the beauty of the Jupiter, I use the SB3
more often. The sonic trade-off is there, the Jupiter is far superior
to the SB3 (however, the SB3 fares better, but still sounds congested,
against the Rega Planet).

I even thought about dumping the SB3 at one time, just to force myself
to use the Jupiter more often. I almost convinced myself, thinking
that I really only listen to 5-6 CDs in rotation at any one time (a
holdover from the 5-disk changer days)

So now, like GuyDebord, I'm thinking of going with the Transporter as a
sole source. The Audiophile measurements look really good and I like
how it will display in the rack.

Guy -- how happy are you, truly, with the move away from the Saturn?
Do you miss anything about it?
