Rachmaninoff: I don't think he ever recorded the Symphonic Dances, either as a conductor, or in the duo piano version. He was dead within two years of the work's premier. Argerich/Rabinovich: sorry, I'm looking for the orchestral version. And I already have Ax/Bronfman, which I quite like. I've got plenty of other Argerich recordings, though. Kondrashin: Jeez...I know we're talking interpretation, but that recording had to have been made in the '60s, no? How about something a little more modern: Järvi, Mackerras, Zinman? That said, a quick SC search of my library for "Kondrashin" shows an obvious hole.
