It's pretty tough to tell the difference between 320 MP3 and uncompressed on any gear. In my experience being able to do so has much more to do with knowing what MP3 compression artifacts sound like and choosing passages the encoder has difficulty with than anything else. But why would you want to do that anyway? Lossless is a much better choice for many reasons. For example, you might want transcode down to a smaller size for use with a portable player.
