I do agree with other posteers that a version of the Transporter without on board controlls or screens would be a good idea. Like a high end Reciever. The VFD displays were always said to be a major cost item in the manufacture of the SB and the Transporter. Removing them and reducing the over all size of the case should allow for a less expensive unit. Not saying it would be cheap, just less expensive :) EDIT: Actually, even if a headless Transporter with a Squeeze Controller bundled together was the same price as the regular Transporter, I think there would be a market for it.
