I can really recommend any Meadowlark audio speaker, unfortunately they're out of business now.... Certainly not because of the performance of their speakers. Do they get the music out: YOU BET !!!!!
I would without doubt prefer the Meadowlark Kestrel 2 above, say B&W 802d, which is 5 times the price of the kestrel2 (the Kestrel2 actually is a better speaker than 802d, in my view) Another product range that has impressed me almost beyond reproach is the Danish System Audio speakers... Just f...ing fantastic (sorry about language) but these are incredible speakers Fast like lightning, very musical, and just about music....
